About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team within Cloud. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to the delivery of core cloud services across SSE.

The primary objectives are to help teams adopt our cloud platform, providing best practice information and support; and to improve our services through monitoring & automation.

This role focuses on the core cloud platform and associated infrastructure, giving the right candidate the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects across various services and cloud platforms.

  • Collaborate to reduce operational risk within the core cloud platform.
  • Partner with Product owners and management to manage and clearly articulate demand planning and delivery against the projected backlog and book of work.
