SEND Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team at a Specialist SEND School in Birmingham. The school caters for students with SEMH and complex needs, and we require a teacher with a passion for teaching and the ability to grow, nurture and develop children's development and a range of strategies to maintain good behaviour management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach students with SEMH and complex needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote good behaviour management
  • Work collaboratively with the dedicated team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)

Contract Details:

  • Long-term temporary contract
  • Full-time position
  • Minimum rate of pay: £120 per day
