About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Costings Manager to join our dynamic Commercial Finance & Business Performance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability through effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Costing: Develop and maintain accurate product costing models and bills of material to ensure optimal pricing and profitability.
  • Cost Analysis: Provide critical cost information to inform business decisions, including 'what if' analysis and recommendations for cost reduction.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including New Product Development and Commercial Business Performance, to assess cost implications and drive business growth.
  • Raw Material Sourcing: Evaluate and recommend alternative raw materials to optimize costs and improve product quality.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into cost trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant or strong finalist or QBE.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the FMCG sector and its complexities.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a small team and uphold high standards of work.
  • Technical Skills: Strong MS Excel skills and experience with Power BI.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
