Job Description

**Financial Systems Coordinator**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Coordinator to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of our finance system, acting as the primary point of contact for the finance team and end users regarding system-related queries, issues, and troubleshooting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Systems Accountant in evaluating the financial system controls, segregation of duties, standing data, access rights, delegated authority structure, and workflows within the finance system.
  • Provide support for the process of setting up new suppliers on the finance system, including working with staff in the Trust to advise on the process.
  • Support the finance team for system upgrades, including the planning of appropriate testing.
  • Gather evidence to support internal and external auditors where required.
  • Support the review and implementation of policy and procedures associated with the Financial Accounting function.
