We are seeking a skilled HGV Field Service Technician to join our team at Dawsongroup Plc Careers. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and responding to issues in our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fault diagnosis, repair, and routine maintenance of specialist vehicles and other company equipment.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
- Keeping up to date with administrative responsibilities, ensuring that all routine maintenance or repair work is subject of an accurate and timely written report.
- Evaluating, modifying, and preparing machines for hire at Dawsongroup EMC depots and customers locations.
- First Line Repair, Fault Reporting for second line repairs and providing technical advice to third party engineers where required.
Requirements:
- A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of specialist vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
