Job Overview

Consilium Recruit is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the industrialisation and successful launch of new products, as well as the development and improvement of existing production processes.

The Role

  • Develop and implement production processes for new and existing products, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing operations.
  • Lead the specification, installation, and launch of new production assembly lines, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and process innovation throughout the business.
  • Develop and manage productivity and automation initiatives across the product portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
  • Support the operations team in producing Assembly Line documentation, work instructions, and tooling to ensure smooth production sequences.
  • Identify and mitigate potential quality risks using PFMEA processes, ensuring the elimination of risks and the delivery of high-quality products.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing production processes, with a strong track record of successful new product launches.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge to all levels within the organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and the ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently, with a strong focus on self-motivation and prioritisation under pressure.
