A Staffordshire-based food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join their production facility in Lichfield.

This role involves managing and supporting a team of engineers, as well as providing maintenance support to the production area. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled, with electrical bias, and have experience in managing small teams.

The company is part of a group of sites across the UK and Europe, and due to recent changes in the senior engineering team, there are opportunities for growth and development. Training and development will be provided where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support team members with training and development
  • Motivate team members to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency
  • Complete appraisals and discipline requirements as needed
  • Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full

Requirements:

  • Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3, ideally ONC/HNC level
  • Experience in managing small teams
  • Multi-skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills/experience
  • Apprenticeship-trained
  • Manufacturing/production experience required

  • Estimated salary: £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
