About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Community Nurse Bank in Wirral. As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our Community Nursing Teams across the Wirral.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and be able to deliver high-quality evidence-based skilled nursing care within the community setting. You will also have the ability to work in an integrated way with our integrated rapid response teams, Community Matrons, and social services colleagues.

In addition to a structured mandatory training package, we will provide a comprehensive induction strategy and local orientation to the service. There are excellent in-house training opportunities allowing each individual the opportunity for further learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality evidence-based skilled nursing care within the community setting
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records
Person Specification
  • First-level Registered Nurse qualification
  • Evidence of further recent professional development
  • Relevant clinical knowledge and experience
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
