Job Title: Senior Payroll Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Payroll Assistant to join our team at Portfolio Payroll Limited. As a key member of our payroll department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely payment of our employees.

Responsibilities:

* Process monthly payrolls, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
* Enter and verify payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates or deductions.
* Process SSPs, SMPS, PAYE, NP, and BIA.
* Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
* Prepare and submit payroll reports to the Finance department.
* Assist with the year-end payroll process.
* Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and efficiencies.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a property or similar environment (5+ years).
* Experience with Cloud-based payroll software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
