Job Title: English Language Educator

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified English Language Educator to join our team at Protocol Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet the school's curriculum standards
  • Maintain student progress records
  • Provide support for form students' development and overall progress as a form tutor
  • Contribute to the raising standards of student achievement by managing student behaviour and reporting any issues or concerns to senior staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Honours degree
  • Experience teaching English in a secondary classroom environment
  • Evidence of students achieving excellent exam grades
  • Understanding of standard computer packages and how these can be used to enhance student learning
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about supporting children with various abilities in a positive education environment
  • Can demonstrate problem-solving skills when facing challenging situations
  • Must have, or be willing to, undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • Committed to ensuring the safeguarding of young people
