**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team in Hastings. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of homelessness. Your primary responsibility will be to provide coaching, housing, and general support to these individuals, helping them to build essential life skills and achieve their goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Coaching and Engagement: Coach young people to articulate their aspirations and ambitions, and help them acquire the skills needed for independent living.
  • Housing: Manage occupancy agreements, promote a credit culture, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits.
  • General: Work as part of a team, handle potentially difficult situations, and participate in continuing professional development.

**Requirements**

  • Experience: Relating to housing, support work, and/or working with young people at risk.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Good communication skills, ability to build relationships, and experience with recording notes/actions.
