About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a teaching assistant in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in psychology or a related field and a passion for working with young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting teaching staff in delivering lessons to pupils with SEN
  • Leading small group sessions to support students who require additional help
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who need extra guidance
  • Tracking student progress and reporting back to teaching staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related subject
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or similar conditions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo a new check

Salary: £425-£450 per week
