About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Development Worker to join our Foundation Learning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Curriculum Manager in progressing groups of young people aged 16-19 from low levels of engagement and achievement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the social and cultural pressures on young people from a range of backgrounds, as well as excellent behaviour management skills. They will also have experience of using IT in a support or admin role and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Progression of students from low levels of engagement and achievement.
  2. Safeguarding and prevent concerns and referrals.
  3. Improved standards in behaviour and attendance.
  4. Pastoral support for students, parents/carers, and teachers.
  5. Transition into the Faculty, progression to higher levels and retention of students.
