Production Support Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical expertise to our production teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, as well as providing guidance and support to production teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated electrical/mechanical engineering support to improve equipment efficiency.
  • Resolve manufacturing issues by providing guidance, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
  • Undertake basic engineering tasks to facilitate maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
  • Test performance of equipment in conjunction with departmental setters/operators.
  • Work with the production support team to identify improvements for future equipment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Electrician holding C&G 2330 & 2356 NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology (installation or maintenance pathway) or prior formal industry regulated competency-based qualification.
  • Mechanical manufacturing knowledge, including milling, turning, and grinding.
