Job Role: Rigger

As a Rigger at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd, you will be responsible for the execution of rigging and lifting duties, including developing lifting plans, inspecting lifting equipment, and conducting risk assessments.

The role aims to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks to the highest quality while supporting the company's overall objectives and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lifting plans to ensure safe and efficient execution of tasks
  • Inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of tasks
Requirements:
  • Confined Space Medium Risk (training may be available if required)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Travel expected across the UK for varying periods
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Up to 7% pension contribution
