About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Operations Clerk to support the day-to-day administration of the Transport department at our Booker Retail Partner Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will oversee the Operations Clerks and be responsible for various key accountabilities.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior Operations Clerk will be responsible for completing accident investigation paperwork, dealing with CRM queries, managing the fuel system, and performing day-to-day management of the Transport Operation. This includes route departures, tachographs downloads, and communication with managers and team members from transport, warehouse, and CST.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have data entry/administrative experience, GCSE Maths and English grade C or above, PC literacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyse verbal and numeric data. You should also be able to work on your own initiative and under pressure, as well as part of a team. Good time management and organisational skills are also essential.
