Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Advisor to join our team at Coventry University. As a key member of the Student Wellbeing department, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to students.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and committed team dedicated to supporting student mental health. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality advice and guidance to students, ensuring they receive the best possible support during their time at university.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential guidance and support to students experiencing mental health issues.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and deliver mental health initiatives and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to provide additional support services for students.
  • Contribute to the development of mental health policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of mental health issues and their impact on students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £37,631-£42,943 (dependent upon experience) + London Allowance, as well as opportunities for professional development and training. If you have exceptional experience, we may consider discussing a discretionary salary range.
