Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health and well-being across a complex caseload.
  • Take charge of the ward in the absence of the Sister.
  • Deliver high-quality care to meet patient needs.
  • Promote best practice and contribute to quality improvements.
  • Mentor newly qualified staff and student nurses.
  • Liaise with other departments across the hospital.

Requirements

  • NMC registration with no restriction on practice.
  • Experience in Surgical settings.
  • Good management experience with a proven ability to lead a team.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
