Job Title: Female Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to join our team in Weymouth. As a Female Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering a young lady with complex needs to live an independent life.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, requiring between 12 and 20 hours per week, with shifts available on weekends. You will be responsible for supporting the lady with daily activities, including:

  • Visiting local attractions and engaging in leisure activities
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Supporting the lady with her iPad and communication
  • Accompanying her on walks and outings
  • Participating in hydrotherapy sessions and rebounding therapy
  • Engaging in sensory activities and music sessions

You will also be required to assist with finances, meal preparation, and general support around the home and garden.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK/EU driving license (automatic car experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A non-smoker
  • Ability to work alternate weekends
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-in shifts
