Sales and Administrative Assistant

In this Sales Administrator role, you will provide administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including processing orders and handling customer inquiries.
- Cold Calling: Engage with potential clients through outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Tender Management: Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
- Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell products to existing customers, maximizing sales and revenue.
- Liaison with Orders Team: Collaborate closely with the orders team to ensure smooth order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records in Excel, including sales data, customer information, and order details.
Estimated Salary Range: £13.50 per hour.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous Experience: Experience in a similar sales administrative role is preferred, with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer service.
- Cold Calling Experience: Comfortable making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products and generate sales leads.
- Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, especially in preparing tenders and processing orders.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
