Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and serve customers with a smile
  • Prepare food to the highest standards, including bread and cookie baking
  • Maintain food storage areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean and safe
  • Comply with Food Code of Practice and understand food handling & safety standards
  • Operate the till, handle cash, and process card transactions
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain a clean and tidy front counter
  • Check in deliveries and adhere to quality standards & procedures
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Follow security & safety procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
  • Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform
  • Work as a team member and deliver a high standard of customer service

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, and/or customer service. You will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway courses. If you're currently working in customer services or the food industry and have a winning attitude, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
