Job Title: Engineer Surveyor - Lifting Equipment

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Surveyor to join our team in Wick/Thurso. As an Engineer Surveyor, you will be responsible for inspecting and certifying cranes and lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and certify cranes and lifting equipment, including gantry cranes, crawler cranes, scissor lifts, MEWPs, excavators, and FLT's
  • Work to LOLER and PUWER regulations, ensuring compliance and safety standards
  • Manage client relationships and diaries, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain technical specialist support, operating within agreed authorities and inspection standards
  • Drive customer focus and achieve optimal service delivery
Requirements:
  • Level 4 qualification in a mechanical-based subject (e.g., HNC and above)
  • Hands-on experience in fixing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, or servicing lifting equipment or cranes
  • UK driving license
  • Customer-facing skills
