Job Summary: Practice Team Member

We are seeking an experienced and organized Practice Team Member to join our team at Tower House Surgery in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice, and maintaining accurate medical records.

About Us:
Tower House Surgery is a friendly training practice with a patient population of approximately 11,000. Our clinical team consists of 5 GP Partners, 3 salaried GPs, 1 Paramedic, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Midwife, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 1 Healthcare Assistant, and 1 Phlebotomist. We also have a Clinical Pharmacist and a Social Prescriber working with us as part of the Cygnet Primary Care Network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage appointments, recalls, and correspondence electronically and manually.
  • File correspondence and reports accurately and in accordance with agreed protocols.
  • Use computer systems to produce repeat prescriptions and appointment session lists.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize workload
  • Able to follow GDPR policies and guidelines
  • Understanding of confidentiality
  • Good standard of Literacy & Numeracy
  • Computer literate
  • Good clear and confident communicator
  • Ability to work as a member of a team

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
