Procurement Role for a Niche Branded Food Business

Berkshire-based BCorp food business seeks a skilled Buyer to join its team. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for setting up contracts with suppliers, ensuring efficient and sustainable manufacturing capacity.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market leader in the food industry, driving innovation and growth through strategic sourcing and procurement practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, preferably in the FMCG sector, with a focus on 3rd party manufacturers. Commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and efficient supply chain
  • Source and procure high-quality raw materials and packaging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation
  • Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions

Requirements:

  • Strong procurement experience in the FMCG sector
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and inform procurement decisions
