We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN support staff to join our team at an independent SEN school in the Thetford area of Norfolk. As a SEN support staff member, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of special needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLCN, MLD, Epilepsy, and Dyslexia.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working closely with children aged 4-19, providing support and assistance in the classroom and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art school with incredible facilities, including forest schools, archery, horticultural learning, animal care, and a science lab.
Requirements- Experience working with special needs children (or adults with learning difficulties)
- Ability to provide support and assistance in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- DBS check and right to work in the UK
We offer a competitive salary, lunch provided, and the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are open to part-time options for full days only. The school is keen to take on permanent contracts for successful applicants.
