Job Description

This Senior Planner role is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of planning projects in London and its surrounding areas.

As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for managing and leading on planning projects, preparing and submitting planning applications, and providing expert advice to clients on planning policy and development potential.

You will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting junior members of the team, contributing to business development, and staying up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management and leadership.
  • Planning application preparation and submission.
  • Client advice on planning policy and development potential.
  • Team mentoring and support.
  • Business development and relationship-building.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accreditation preferred).
  • Chartered membership of the RTPI (or working towards it).
  • Significant experience in a planning role, ideally within consultancy or local authority.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy, particularly in London.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
