Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Service Engineer to join our team at Octane Recruitment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in mobile equipment maintenance to take on new challenges and progress their careers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for various types of forklifts and related equipment. If you have experience working with forklifts or hold transferable skills from other areas such as plant, engineering, HGV, or agricultural backgrounds, we would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Carry out repairs and troubleshooting on forklifts and associated machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the company through excellent communication and customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in forklift maintenance or a related field.
  • Industry-recognised qualifications indicating adequate training on the equipment.
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role.
