About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Asset Engineer to join our team at BUUK Infrastructure No 2 Limited. As an Electrical Asset Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our inspection and maintenance policy and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Asset Manager and Policy & Standards Engineer in the development of the Companies Inspection and Maintenance policy and standards.
  • Support the Electricity Asset Audit team and the inspection of assets.
  • Review and prioritize any remedial works necessary as a result of feedback from the Electricity Asset Audit team (non-conformances).
  • Work closely with the Head of Electricity Asset Management, Asset Manager, clients, contractors, and internal resources to ensure that the standards are compliant with all relevant Legislation.
  • Responsible for supporting all Health and Safety issues regarding the Maintenance of GTC networks.

About You:

  • Minimum of HNC standard in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Have a good understanding of the operation and maintenance of electrical distribution plant.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to write technical standards for implementation on the Electrical Distribution Network.
