About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team at Eden Scott. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive infrastructure designs, standards, and patterns to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Conduct cost assessments and create roadmaps for infrastructure adoption to optimize our technology investments.
  • Design and implement operational models for new technologies to enhance our infrastructure capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural strategies and governance standards to maintain the integrity of our systems.
  • Provide consultancy to projects, offering expertise in estimating, design, and impact analysis to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong technical background with a focus on infrastructure design and architecture, including experience with a range of infrastructure technologies.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and team members.
  • Deep understanding of IT design principles and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with operating systems, virtualization, and database management systems.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux
  • Experience in financial services environments.
  • Services; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory
  • Database; Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
  • Virtualisation; VMWare ESXi
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
