At JD Sports, we're seeking a skilled Global Mobility Junior Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Global Mobility Team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, verifying employee eligibility, and handling documentation and pre-employment checks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance to recruitment and management teams on resolving Right to Work queries, ensuring compliance with company procedures and visa conditions, and advising on best practices.
  • Advising managers on required documents for new colleagues, assisting with HRIS enquiries, and generating reports to monitor and update expiring documents.
  • Preparing and issuing communications regarding right to work status, handling pre-employment checks and immigration queries, and auditing Right to Work documentation, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Global Mobility Senior Advisor on international assignments, liaising with the People team and Line Managers for timely query resolution, supporting investigation meetings, identifying process improvements, and assisting with project work and ad-hoc administration duties.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in processing right-to-work checks, using Home Office share codes, and the UKVI employer checking service, with knowledge of Irish Right to Work rules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and experienced in a People/HR function.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to organize workload, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Awareness of GDPR, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate high attention to detail in administrative and organizational tasks.
