About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Residential Care Support Worker to join our team at Easycare 4 U Limited. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in a residential unit in Treharris, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Duties:
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Engage residents in activities that promote their physical and mental health, such as exercise programs and cognitive stimulation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a social care role within a registered setting.
  • QCF Level 2 in Care or a similar qualification recognized by Social Care Wales (or willingness to undertake this within the first year of employment).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to drive the company's minibus for activities.
Working Conditions:

This role requires flexibility, including working weekends, early mornings, evenings, and bank holidays as needed. You must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
