About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Allianz UK. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audit planning, delivery, and reporting, including the use of data analytics to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to agree objectives and timelines for each audit and regularly monitor progress.
  • Prepare audit files, supporting working papers, and draft and final reports within agreed timescales and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development, innovation, and growth of our internal audit strategy and support on functional development activities.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in internal audit, 2nd line assurance, or business operations, including working knowledge of data analytics and awareness of existing and emerging insurance risks and regulations.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver audits and non-audit activities.
  • Completed or working towards a professional qualification in internal audit, accountancy, or another relevant discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with a working knowledge or awareness of data analytics.
