Project Engineer Job Overview
MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading manufacturing business to find a skilled Project Engineer to join their team in Leeds.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with the finance team to develop comprehensive project financials, implementing engineering strategies, and managing resources within a designated budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the finance team to establish process controls for project financials, including business case development, expenditure management, and forecasting.
- Assist the senior project team in implementing engineering strategies and frameworks for assigned projects.
- Oversee resource management, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient service delivery within the designated budget and resources.
- Communicate systems, design information, procedures, and quality systems effectively.
- Provide technical support to project delivery teams by reviewing and verifying their work.
- Lead or assist with project assurance by conducting audits, holding meetings with project teams, and identifying best practices, areas for improvement, and concerns related to safety, finance, or quality.
Requirements
- HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent qualification.
- Strong maintenance or engineering background.
- Experience with projects in an FMCG environment.
