FM Technical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FM Technical Supervisor to join our team in East London. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our site, ensuring the effective maintenance and smooth running of facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the site-based facilities maintenance team, including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general maintenance workers.
- Schedule and oversee regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of all building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks and ensure work is completed to standard.
- Monitor building systems and equipment, ensuring efficient performance and energy management.
- Manage and oversee all reactive and planned maintenance works, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain records of inspections, permits, certifications, and compliance with building and safety codes.
- Lead safety briefings and training sessions for the maintenance team and site staff.
- Proven experience in a site or facilities maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a commercial, industrial, or public building environment.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience working with contractors and managing large maintenance projects.
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant building maintenance field (Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing) or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate (preferred).
- Recognised trade certification in one or more areas (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
