Product Data Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Data Supervisor to join our Merchandise Data Support (MDS) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of Product Data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across our commercial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team focused on accurately creating and maintaining core product data
- Responsible for accuracy of Estimated Landed Cost Prices on Imported products and the systems and processes used
- Responsible for the collection of key product information required for internal operations as well as mandatory regulatory/legislative data
- Responsible for the accuracy of the collected data within the core trading systems/platforms
- Lead the team responsible for Supplier Setup and manage supplier queries across the whole business
- Own the management of the internal Trading Hierarchy, liaising cross functionally with other teams
- Be the SME and main point of contact for all product setup and product data queries
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and work collaboratively with Pricing and Promotion Supervisor to identify processes/systems/tools to be reviewed/improved
- Own the MDS Process Procedure Catalogue, ensuring processes are maintained by the relevant team and reviewed within agreed time parameters
- Work closely with the wider GM&C Change and Improvement Team where process change has wider business implications
- Support the personal development of the team through 1-2-1 and Link conversations
- Existing knowledge of Retail and/or Commercial trading processes/systems
- Experience of leading a team
- Ability to influence to 'Heads Of' business functions
- Great people skills and able to build great working relationships
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Curious mindset with a desire to learn and improve
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Commercial acumen, and an ability to see and consider the 'big picture'
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Organised, with strong attention to detail
- Good MS Office skills
- Access to Core trading systems and tech support teams
- Full training on all aspects of Price, Promotions and Product Data tasks
- Support from wider GM&C Change and Improvement team
