Childcare Coordinator for After-School Program

Job Title: Childcare CoordinatorThis is a part-time permanent position, requiring 16-20 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of our after-school program.
Key Responsibilities:- To work alongside other staff in ensuring the smooth running of the club, adhering to all policies and procedures while maintaining a happy, safe, and fun environment for all children.
- To escort children safely between local schools and the after-school club building.
- To attend staff meetings and training courses, and be flexible to work extra hours if required.
The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent. Experience working with children aged 4-12 years old is essential. A strong ability to work as part of a team and hold a level 3 in Playwork or equivalent is necessary. Furthermore, a valid Enhanced Access NI check and further Social Services and health checks will be required.
Salary Information:The hourly rate is minimum wage for age. We are committed to providing a fair compensation package for our employees. Based on a 16-hour workweek, the estimated annual salary would be approximately £15,000 - £18,000.
