About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Geoscientist to join our team in Brighton, Oxford, Aberdeen, or Edinburgh. As a key member of our consultancy and survey team, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge offshore renewable projects.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum

Job Description

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working with clients. You'll be responsible for providing technical support on offshore renewable projects, preparing technical reports, and contributing to geo-hazard assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support on offshore renewable projects.
  • Prepare and contribute to technical reports and geo-hazard assessments.
  • Assist in planning data acquisition studies and interpreting seismic data.
  • Presentation of findings to clients and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Marine Geosciences, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marine near-surface geophysics or offshore engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in client-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with software like IHS Kingdom, DUG Insight, Petrel, and GIS tools.
  • Right to work in the UK.
