Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Nottingham. As a key member of our structures team, you will be responsible for leading projects, collaborating with colleagues, and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and work independently, with the ability to collaborate with the wider team when required
  • Delegating work and mentoring junior engineers and technicians
  • Coaching individuals one-to-one to help them achieve their development goals
  • Assisting in the management of a team of engineers and technicians of varying experience
  • Planning and managing resources, finances, and quality control requirements

Requirements:

  • Chartered or near to becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer
  • Experience of working on a mixed variety of developments with a number of materials
  • Ability to use a range of analysis and design software, including Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, ETABS, and SAFE
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, opinions, and thoughts to engineers, architects, contractors, and clients
