Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

CV Library is working closely with a leading Building Services Consultancy to find an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to work on a range of projects across the Healthcare and Commercial sectors. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality electrical design drawings, calculations, and reports, as well as working closely with internal and external design team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce electrical design drawings, calculations, and reports to the highest standard.
  • Work effectively with internal and external design team members to deliver projects on time.
  • Undertake non-intrusive surveys of existing installations and undertake main plant area spatial allowance exercises.
  • Attend and contribute to design team and project meetings.
  • Liaise with lead and/or support engineers to ensure that discipline designs are completed to expected quality and programme.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum Engineering HNC/D or equivalent qualification.
  • Alternatively, suitable construction site-based experience with a recognised completed electrical apprenticeship.
