About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Digital Tribe, working on APIs and Microservices. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and test software and configuration that delivers value to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing APIs and Java Spring Boot Microservices
  • Implementing automated build pipelines and improving monitoring capabilities
  • Participating in peer reviews of documentation, code, unit, and integration testing
  • Collaborating with Tech leads, Architects, Analysts, Scrum Master, and Product Owners to perform impact analysis and estimation on requirements and designs
  • Ensuring system design meets current design standards, is appropriate for current architecture, and meets future architecture and infrastructure requirements
  • Providing out-of-hours support for services and APIs

About You

You will have hands-on experience with Java and Spring. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of modern technologies and platforms used within digital applications
  • Desirable skills including:
    • Restful Design, working with API Gateway products
    • Containers and Container Orchestration - Docker, Kubernetes
    • Continuous Integration Pipelines - Gitlab, Jenkins
