Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior or Principal Planner to join our team in Cambridge.

This role is ideal for a recently qualified planner who is eager to start an exciting career with a prestigious, forward-thinking, and dynamic team.

You will be part of a team that's integral to the growth and regeneration of Cambridge, engaging in high-profile City Centre redevelopments with a strong emphasis on Science and Tech, Research and Development projects, as well as substantial mixed-use, residential, and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing commercial and specific planning advice
  • Proactively managing engagement with the local planning authority and other stakeholders
  • Providing robust evidence to support the planning case
  • Preparing high-quality planning submissions and Development Plan Representations
  • Representing the clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process
  • Independently leading small schemes
  • Collaborating with the wider planning team, across offices, on national or regional projects
Requirements
  • Chartered membership with the RTPI
  • Proven experience in town planning, with a strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a passion for planning and development
