About the Role

In this exciting role as a Cloud Solutions Architect, EMEA, you will have the opportunity to work with our Enterprise Support customers, providing expert guidance and strategic technical advice to help them gain the most value from cloud technology.

As a trusted advisor, you will craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services, ensuring their AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.

You will develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges, and drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in technical engineering, operational parameters, and troubleshooting in a distributed systems environment, as well as a strong understanding of AWS services or other cloud offerings.

We are looking for someone with a passion for cloud computing, a strong understanding of technical issues, and a customer-obsessed mindset. If you have a Bachelor's degree and experience in technical engineering, operational parameters, and troubleshooting in a distributed systems environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer.
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Experience in technical engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
