**Repairs Scheduler Role**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repairs Scheduler to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a Repairs Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our repair and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operative diaries to ensure efficient allocation of tasks
  • Liaise with tenants and operatives to arrange repairs and respond to queries
  • Plan and prioritize repairs works, including pre and post inspection, reactive, voids, and emergency repairs
  • Book appointments and allocate works to available operatives, tracking progress from start to completion
  • Communicate effectively with operatives and stakeholders to ensure high-quality work and timely completion
  • Maintain accurate records and data, including filing contract paperwork and updating relevant systems
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to repair requests, diagnosing issues, and booking appointments
  • Collaborate with colleagues, residents, operatives, and suppliers to deliver exceptional service and meet targets
  • Utilize IT systems to input and extract information, ensuring protocol is followed and data is up-to-date
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and participate in relevant training

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a housing or repairs and maintenance context
  • Ability to make decisions based on set standards and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Resilience in challenging situations and ability to empathize with customers
  • Accurate IT skills, including Microsoft Word

Working Arrangements:

This is an office-based role, with a 36-hour week and potential for one day of remote work from home.
