Job Overview

The Financial Manager will be responsible for aspects of the controllership and accounting function in support of the EMEA operations. This includes leading financial statement areas, managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and driving standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead senior management meetings on key financial statement areas.
  2. Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for EMEA operations.
  3. Drive standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls.
  4. Deliver functional projects on a cross-country level.
  5. Ensure EMEA Accounting activities are aligned with Worldwide Accounting Organization.
  6. Influence accounting terminology for non-finance stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive relevant experience in accounting functions.
  • CPA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Essbase, Cognos, and similar software.
  • Able to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep into data, processes, people, and technology challenges.
