About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Practitioner to join our team in Coleford, Forest of Dean. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Support individuals with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Encourage and facilitate social interactions, leisure activities, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective support service.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £14, rising to £ per hour on 1st October 2024.
  • A generous holiday package, including 33 days of annual leave and eight statutory bank holidays.

Requirements
  • A professional qualification in health, education, or social care (desirable).
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A driving license and access to a car (or ability to secure transportation).
