**Job Overview:**

The Senior Procurement Category Manager for EMEA is responsible for managing the purchases and strategies for assigned chemical and ingredient categories. This includes commodities such as proteins, yeast extracts, baked items, cocoa, solvents, additives, and acids.

This role acts as a liaison to EMEA Sensient business units, promoting communication and alignment with business unit goals regarding procurement. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of capital and indirect procurement management, optimizing process improvements within assigned categories.

In addition, this position must work in accordance with global food safety policies and procedures supporting activities of the Quality and Regulatory functions.

The successful candidate will identify and achieve assigned cost-saving initiatives targets, while ensuring compliance with auditable and finance rulings as assigned by the Procurement Director.

This role assumes leadership responsibilities for assigned categories across multiple EMEA locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assist in qualifying new suppliers together with Global Quality Groups.
  • Prepare and present quarterly reports to management groups on market conditions, business updates, and opportunities in assigned categories.
  • Analyze and prepare annual budgets and analysis for assigned categories.
  • Implement supplier reviews to maintain existing or establish favorable long-term Purchase and Supply Chain relationships and agreements globally.

The estimated salary for this role is **£65,000 - £80,000 per annum**, depending on experience.
