About the Role

As a key member of the Purchasing & Supply Chain team at SSP Group, the Demand Planner will be responsible for driving business growth by accurately forecasting product demand, monitoring sales trends, and generating insightful reports to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical analysis, historical data, and market trends.
  • Create product trend analysis reports to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, plan new product launches, and manage stock levels.
  • Monitor forecast vs. sales performance to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate data exchange.
  • Proactively manage supply chain issues to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supply chain or demand planning role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Food industry background or experience working with perishable products.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
