About the Role

Deloitte LLP is seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our team in Leeds. As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing technical and cost data from clients to develop robust and efficient R&D claim methodologies. You will also lead the tax technical aspects of the R&D claim process within a project team to ensure that all relevant Patent Box profits and R&D qualifying expenditure are identified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing the qualifying company requirements for establishing the applicability of the SME and/or Large R&D regimes
  • Developing and implementing R&D claim methodologies
  • Leading project teams to ensure successful R&D claim outcomes
  • Preparing clear reports for submission to HMRC
  • Providing industry insight and expertise to clients

Requirements
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field
  • ACA, ATT or CTA qualification
  • Proven experience in leading project teams and delivering complex projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
