You'll need to reside within a reasonable distance to respond to out-of-hours emergencies promptly and will be compensated at competitive rates for the on-call rota.

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you'll perform electrical repairs and installations at our domestic and commercial properties. You'll ensure compliance with current IEE Electrical Regulations and maintain high Health & Safety standards. You'll diagnose circuit and appliance issues, conduct cyclical P.A.T testing, and electrical testing. You'll also assist the building contracts team with programmed works when required.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & Part 2 + AM2 Certificate or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation along with 18th edition wiring regulation.
  • 2391/4/5 (inspect & test) is desirable but not essential.

Please highlight on your application if you're working towards these qualifications, should you not yet have them. You'll demonstrate good all-round electrical skills, including testing, fault finding, repairs, and installation. Experience working in domestic properties and/or for social housing would be an advantage.
