Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Health and Safety Manager

TM Green Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Health and Safety Manager to join their team for a landmark construction project in Derby.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and procedures on the construction site. You will conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, provide guidance and training to staff and contractors, and investigate accidents and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and contractors.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records and reports.
  • Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3/4/5 in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Experience working with main contractors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
